12:00 PM: Black Wall Street Festival
Arrive 10 minutes early & wait at entrance. Juneteenth Black Wall Street Festival is 100% FREE. The Juneteenth Event will include over 30 Black Business owners, Food, Music, Games, a job fair, and so much more. Opportunity to support black-owned businesses so come prepared to shop, eat, drink and network! Located at the Big Brother Big Sister Building at 1003 Washington Ave, Houston, TX 77002 their hours are from 12-4PM. Wear your FAMTrippers T-Shirts and/or Buttons.03:00 PM: POST Market/Skylawn
- 3PM - POST Market: On your own Explore and Eat if you didn't eat at the Black Wall Street Festival! Click on Restaurants for all the available food court options.
- 5PM - POST Skylawn (Rooftop Park): Arrive 10 minutes early & wait at entrance. Head upstairs to the rooftop where we will reconnect and hangout. The rooftop is famous for watching the sun go down. We will also VOTE on our next FAMTrippers Destination for next year, so try to make it to the rooftop! Bring an Outdoor/Lawn Chair just in case seating is limited, or feel free to stand and walk around the rooftop park.

OPTIONAL: Marked optional due to Heat Advisory & Air Quality. Meet at Hermann Park Conservancy Gift Shop at Kinder Station to catch the train and ride around Hermann Park. Feel free to get on and off the train at your leisure to enjoy the beautiful park and maybe try some paddle boating. The train also stops at the Houston Zoo. If you're going to the Zoo, you MUST purchase your Zoo Tickets within the month of June prior to coming. You cannot purchase at the gate.03:00 PM: Downtown Aquarium

Dr. Araminta Sorrell will be giving our group a personal Juneteenth History presentation in the heart of Galveston where Juneteenth originated. $25/pp Tickets must be purchased by June 8, 2023. Located at 2017 The Strand, Galveston, TX 77550 (street parking and a lot at 22nd and Strand). Checkout the great things they are doing, and feel free to donate. They are allowing our group to use their building at no charge. We are only paying the speaker, so purchase your tickets before deadline.03:00 PM: Fisherman's Wharf

OPTIONAL: Marked Optional due to Heat Advisory & Air Quality. Enjoy the Pleasure Pier rides and/or hangout on the Beach and relax for the remainder of the evening. Feel Free to bring Outdoor/Lawn Chairs. We will have music for Line Dancing (no instructor) and Karaoke (register) on the beach! Pleasure Pier tickets range from $8-$28 and can be purchased at the entrance. The Beach is FREE; only pay for parking.
